The schedule for Android and IOS users is different, therefore the distribution of the dates and timings have been given separately for both. BGMI 1.6 Update Release Date for Android Users (Google Play store):
- 16th of September 2021, Thursday at 14:30 ~ 17th of September 2021, Friday at 15:30 respectively.
NOTE: Client distribution proceeds sequentially for Android users hence, there may be differences in timings to the exposure of the new update in the Google Play Store, depending on the device you use.
Schedule for IOS users (Apple App Store):
- 17th of September 2021, Friday at 11:00 respectively.
NOTE FOR BOTH ANDROID AND IOS USERS: It is highly recommended by the developers to install the update via Wi-Fi connectivity since the update is a huge file. Lots of mobile data would be consumed if Wi-Fi isn’t preferred. The distribution dates or timings may change hence users will be notified officially by Krafton if it is available earlier or later.
