The announcement was made across its various social media handles and the game developers gave a likely time-period when the event will begin. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

The Indian gaming community is hyped for the beginning of Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India Series. It gives upcoming esports athletes a chance to compete with the top BGMI teams. The BGIS 2023 will be Krafton’s first official event after it gets unbanned.

The first BGIS event was held from December 2021 to January 2022. It had a massive prize pool of 1 Cr INR. The tournament was open for all Battlegrounds Mobile India players and had five stages. The winner of that event was Skylightz Gaming.
When will BGIS 2023 start?
According to Krafton’s official announcement, the registrations for BGIS 2023 will begin soon. Interested participants can visit BGMI’s official website to register their squad as soon as the registrations for the event start.
To create hype over the event, the organizers have also announced that they will be conducting an official scrims session prior to the beginning of BGIS 2023. It will be known as “The Grind” and will kick off on July 20.

The details about all the invited BGMI teams for the event have not been revealed yet. Apart from providing underdog teams a chance to compete with top-level BGMI teams from across India, the BGIS 2023 event might also be a sort of qualifier for Indian teams in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023.
