Battlefield 2042 Open Beta: Know Minimum and Recommended System Requirements

Battlefield 2042 Open Beta: Know Minimum and Recommended System Requirements: On November 19, Battlefield 2042 will be released worldwide. The game will be available in open beta on October 8 and 9 for those who have pre-ordered the game, with early access on October 6 and 7 for those who have pre-ordered the game. The minimal and recommended prerequisites for the game to be played on PC are also listed in the open beta test announcement. Battlefield 2042 is the latest multiplayer first-person shooter in the long-running Battlefield franchise, and it will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Battlefield 2042 Open Beta: During the open beta test, gamers will only have access to the Conquest mode and the Orbital map, according to EA. All-Out Warfare and Hazard Zones are two further multiplayer modes in Battlefield 2042. Hourglass, Kaleidoscope, Manifest, Discarded, Breakaway, and Renewal are the other six maps. During the open beta test for Battlefield 2042, users will be able to try out four different characters.

Battlefield 2042 open beta system requirements (minimum)
  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Raedon RX 560
  • DirectX: 12
  • Storage: 100GB free space
Recommended system requirements:
  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 / AMD Raedon RX 6600
  • DirectX: 12
  • Storage: 100GB free space

Because the NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti and AMD RX 560 are considered older budget GPUs for those who aren’t aiming to maximum visuals and FPS, the minimum system requirements are rather reasonable for most PC gamers. The Intel i5-6600K and AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPUs are good starting points, but they’re not very demanding, and 8GB of RAM isn’t enough for most gaming PCs.

The recommended system requirements, on the other hand, are slightly more demanding, as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT are designed to maximize 1080p performance while also providing solid ray tracing performance. The Intel i7-4790 and AMD Ryzen 7 2700X are two of the greatest mainstream CPUs available right now.
