Apex Legends players are getting banned after naming themselves on Andrew Tate – The narrative of Andrew Tate’s ascent and the eventual decline has garnered a lot of attention online in 2022. The renowned kickboxer faced growing criticism for his divisive opinions and was charged with sexism due to his attitudes toward women. As a matter of fact, he was blocked from important social media sites including YouTube and Twitch.
Despite the creator’s protests of “violence” against him, there are currently no signs that the rulings would be overturned, and several well-known people have expressed support for the news.
The 35-year-name being used in Apex Legends may now result in a suspension as EA looks to be tightening down on allusions to him. On September 2, a Redditor stated they had indeed been kicked out of the battle royale because they used the in-game moniker “Andrew Tate.” They posted a statement they had gotten from EA and said the character had been “de-platformed” on Apex.
Even if done on purpose, the moniker “breaks our Positive Play Charter” and “may still disrupt the game for many others,” according to the letter. Everyone else has apparently got suspended for the exact same offense, according to former leaker Garret’s statement on September 3 that “several people with this username have been banned”.

They included a duplicate of an EA ban notification, which also demonstrated that the in-game name was against the company’s “hateful behavior” regulations.

Individuals do seem to be getting punished for using the former kickboxer’s name in-game as of the time of writing; however, Respawn and EA are yet to comment on the obvious change.
However, there is a straightforward answer to the issue about what if someone’s name is Andrew Tate and they want to play Apex: don’t take the chance of using the name in-game that’s it.
