Their attorney, Matt Jury, claimed that they had been accused of rape as well as physical and se*ual attacks, including holding pistols to the heads of women and strangling them with belts.
It is believed that his accusers reported their alleged abuse to the police eight years ago. Still, they claim investigators dropped the charges after failing to look into their case thoroughly.
“When they went to the police their allegations were not treated seriously, the police didn’t take effective action. The evidence was not there,” Jury said. “We’re aware of the evidence that was provided, it should have been sufficient to warrant proper criminal intent investigation and, in our opinion, for charges to be brought.”

In Bucharest, Romania, on December 29, 2022, the former kickboxing world champion Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were taken into custody for their alleged roles in rape and people trafficking. Tate allegedly kidnapped and forced many women who worked for him in his webcam business to do se*ual acts. After a Romanian judge denied the prosecution’s request to keep Andrew Tate in custody until late April, Tate was recently released and put under house arrest.
He now has over 5 million followers on Twitter after picking up at least 500,000 new followers since being released from police custody. As usual, Tate has refuted the allegations. He posted a screenshot of a news article about a lady who was being imprisoned for false rape accusations as a kind of defence on Twitter.
