The indictment deposited with the court claims that the four defendants formed an organized criminal group in 2021. It’s aim was to conduct human trafficking in Romania and other countries, including the US and the UK. The indictment also provides names of 7 alleged victims who reported that they were recruited by the Tate brothers with false promises of love and marriage. While Andrew Tate has been charged with committing rape on one of the victims, his brother has been charged with instigating violence.

Currently, no Romanian judge has reviewed the evidence in the case file and it is being alleged that the indictment was based on arguments to keep the Tate brothers in jail and under house arrest. A judge will have to inspect the case files within 60 days and then send it to trial if applicable.
