Despite her controversies, Amouranth had a clean slate on Twitch for the past year. Her last ban came a year and a half ago on Oct. 2021. Her previous five bans spanned were received in a relatively short period between Sept. 2019 and Oct. 2021.
Previously, Amouranth’s bans were related to her risqué content on Twitch like her hot tub streams. But there have been rumors suggesting that Amouranth’s latest ban might come due to her fight with streamer Adriana Chechik. On April 27, Adriana talked negatively about Amouranth’s personality on her live stream. In response, Amouranth challenged Adriana to a fight. “I’ll challenge her in the ring. Catch me outside, how about that?” she had said.
There are Twitch guidelines that state any attempts or threats to physically harm others is a bannable offense whether it’s on the platform or not. Certain severe offenses that occur off Twitch when committed by members of the community can lead up to an indefinite suspension. Hence it might not come as a surprise if Twitch banned Amouranth due to this incident.
