Amouranth take on Kick Streaming: Amouranth has an interesting take on queries related to moving to the new streaming platform Kick
In a recent interview with Essentially Sports, Amouranth was questioned about the potential switch from Twitch to Kick.
“I would give it a try for a certain amount of money, but I don’t think I would go exclusive there, just because, at least right now, their reputation is risky,” she said.
When questioned about well-known streamers leaving the platform, like Kai Cenat, Siragusa said that diversifying a streamer’s material across platforms is a good idea, but criticized some of the methods being used. The streamer has grown to become a huge name in the streaming industry and has made a financial fortune out of it. She knows exactly how to work on multiple contents across platforms and still not vex rivals.
“If you are gonna branch on other platforms, you can never sh*t on the one you’re still planning to be on, because that will get you banned. That’s kinda what I’m worried about too, if I were to join Kick – would Twitch find easier ways to justify banning me?” she responded. Although Amouranth acknowledged that she believed it would be feasible to do both, she cautioned streamers against “biting the hand that feeds you.”
Amouranth appears to be considering the option of shifting to Kick at the moment, but for the time being, she is just standing by and observing. Kick was only established in October 2022, so there is still much work to be done to improve its policies and introduce more features.
