Amouranth on UberEats Delivery- Twitch streaming sensation Amouranth recently revealed an incident where she was duped by a food delivery partner. This happened after she didn’t receive the ordered food despite the UberEats app passing confirmation on the delivery.
Amouranth on UberEats Delivery, “Yo UberEats, why are your delivery drivers stealing my order.”
Amouranth shed light on the incident by writing about it on Twitter with a video of the same, “Yo UberEats, why are your delivery drivers stealing my order after taking the picture? There’s a sign on my door that informs people they are on camera and they verbally annotated their actions,” she said.

She was furious after an Uber Eats delivery guy was caught stealing her requested food despite her having posted a notice that anyone at her doorway would be under surveillance camera. Soon after the incident caught attention on the Internet, her fans were quick enough to comment on the probable causes. Many were surprised by the courage of the delivery partner to go to such an extent, while others sympathized with him.
One of her fans even said that it might have happened because the man was starving and the meal he was meant to deliver was too good to leave outdoors for someone else, though that doesn’t justify the act. Also, UberEats support responded to her tweet after the video had been released and requested that Amouranth DM them. “Hey Amouranth – we’re so sorry! That is definitely not okay. Mind DMing us your account info? We want to make this right,” they said.
To be fair, poor guy probably can’t afford a good meal after blowin all that hard earned cash on pristine footwear.

This incident highlights the flaw in food delivery service as it is easy for the delivery partner to take a picture of the food at the door to prove delivery, but then quickly return the item and consume it for oneself. The fact that Uber Eats replied to the event almost an hour later to the dismay of their supporters, some of whom even claimed it was bad for their reputation, should also be noticed.
