Amouranth Kick Stream: Amouranth’s twerking incident on Kick sparks suspension risk – Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa, who recently made the move to Kick, a new rival live-streaming platform, finds herself embroiled in controversy. Despite Kick being perceived as more lenient than Twitch regarding guidelines, there are still clear rules in place about the type of content allowed.
Less than a month after her transition, Amouranth is facing potential suspension for allegedly breaching community guidelines by engaging in “twerking” during one of her streams. By attracting prominent streamers from Twitch, such as xQc, Destiny, and Amouranth, Kick has been successful in creating a competitive environment in the market.

However, with the migration of top Twitch personalities, the platform has had to carefully enforce its community guidelines to maintain a suitable streaming environment. Kick’s community guidelines explicitly prohibit “sexually suggestive content,”. On July 16, during a DJ set on her Kick stream, Amouranth engaged in twerking when the song lyrics prompted the move.
This action led some viewers to assert that it could be considered a violation of Kick’s guidelines. The issue gained attention when a clip of the incident surfaced on Reddit, sparking discussions about the consequences Amouranth might face for her actions.

As far back as April, Eddie Craven, one of Kick’s co-founders, stated unequivocally that twerking was against the platform’s rules, specifically when done in exchange for “subs/money.” This stance is in line with Kick’s efforts to maintain a certain standard of content and ensure that the platform is an inviting space for all users.
Despite the controversy, Amouranth’s channel on Kick remains active. Surprisingly, her account has already garnered over 100,000 followers since her move from Twitch. Interestingly, her average viewership on Kick over the past 30 days has surpassed her numbers on Twitch, with 11,282 average viewers on Kick compared to 6,538 on Twitch.
As Amouranth continues her journey on Kick, the recent twerking incident has sparked discussions about the enforcement of community guidelines on the platform. While she currently remains on the platform, the potential consequences of violating Kick’s rules have raised concerns.
