Amidst the Livestream the cops swatted IShowSpeed likewise Adin Ross a day before – Likewise, for many other streamers who had already carried the brunt of being swatted by the cops, IShowSpeed is a new addition to that list of Swatted streamers. Swatting is a process by which someone allegedly procures the address of a streamer and calls the police to their location under false pretenses.
A day before this incident happened to IShowSpeed, Adin Ross faced the same situation too where he was swatted during a gambling stream. Esports insider Jake lucy stated in a statement on his Twitter handle, “This comes just a day after Adin Ross was also supposedly swatted on Twitch, luckily everyone seems to be okay in both circumstances.”

Adin Ross also added a statement describing his experience, “I got swatted last night, very very scary. I’m okay. I love you guys. Also, the speed got swatted as well, we just got off the phone he’s okay! Sick world we live in man.”

The most recent Livestream of the controversial YouTuber IShowSpeed was interrupted after the cops broke into his place forcibly dragging him out of the house, and restricting his hand movement by handcuffing him. As all of this was happening IShowSpeed pleaded for his innocence while remaining in shock.
“Oh my god, bro. I swear I didn’t do anything. I didn’t do s**t.”
Despite the efforts from the end of the cameraman to capture what exactly happened, the police officer forced him to shut his camera and move back away.

Coincidently, IShowSpeed got swatted less than 24 hours after fellow streamer and friend Adin Ross. Meanwhile, the clip went viral and a lot of assumptions made their way about the correlation between the incidents.
Adin later took to Twitter to confirm that both Darren and himself were on the receiving end of hoax calls. He added that both the streamers were safe.
