Alex leaves Team Vitality due to personal reasons

“Alex” McMeekin confirmed that he left the Vitality CSGO Team, effective immediately due to the demanding lifestyle of a high-level professional player which wasn’t fitting him anymore. The constant travel by the team for the major events doesn’t give him breaks in between making him tired constantly.

The CSGO star has been a part of Team Vitality for just over a year, joining the organization back in 2018 to replace Vincent ‘Happy’ Schopenhauer.

The Team is saddened to lose such a key element of its squad. On top of being the captain and in-game leader, ALEX has shown incredible growth since joining Team Vitality 13 months ago. During this time, ALEX displayed all the qualities of a top international player, both in and out of the game.
