After showing an amazing performance in the regional qualifiers. Abhinav Tejan secured a spot in the finals of 12th Esports World Championship. Abhinav Tejan is a professional Tekken7 player, he was formerly ranked #35 in the world. The 28-year-old pro player proved its worth by comfortably defeating Sri Lanka and Nepal players in the regional qualifiers of South Asia region.
While competition is played online due to the pandemic situation of Covid-19. The Delhi resident Abhinav Tejan is one of the favourite players in the tournament, he performed well in the best-of-three matches against Nepal and Sri Lanka. Abhinav qualified for the finals of 12th Esports World Championship which is scheduled to be offline in Eilat, Israel.
Tejan Said on his victory at Regional qualifiers, ” I had practised a lot for this tournament, in my preparations I had played a lot of online matches. Before the starting of Tournament, I had trained myself with a lot for preparation for the tournament. Now I am in the finals and hoping to bring the trophy home. It is a proud moment for me to represent India at the world level.”
After the win at the Regional Qualifiers of 12th Esports World Championship, Abhinav Tejan has joined Mumbai’s Moinuddin Amdani (PES 2021) in the finals where they will battle for their respective titles. Earlier this month Moinuddin Amdani also got qualified for the finals after defeating two countries at the regional qualifiers.
On the other hand in DOTA 2, Team India will be competing at the regional qualifiers on November 18 to secure place in the finals of World Championship. Team India Dota is the last team from India which can qualify for the finals, the team consists of Captain Omkar Urunkar, Amit Malaal, Akshay Dhodi, Khaja Hussain and Omkar Gharat.
