From the year 2020, Tencent games have changed the PMCO into a qualifier event instead of a major tournament which had a Lan event in the grand finals. They introduced a new series named “Pubg Mobile Pro League”. PMCO will act as an entry-level tournament for the teams so they can compete in PMPL. Ultimately they will advance to Pubg Mobile World League to be held in May-June 2020.
Let’s know the allocations of the teams that will be qualifying for the Pubg Mobile Pro League – Spring Split 2020: South Asia.
As we told you earlier PMCO will act as a qualifying round for the teams competing in south Asia, India and Pakistan region. Top but yet to be decided teams from each region along with 5 invited Indian teams will be competing in the PMPL South Asia 2020. These teams are invited based on their finishes at the previously held PMCO Fall Split 2019: South Asia. Take a look at the invited teams.
- ENTITY GAMING – is one of the most successful pubg mobile team in India. They had been trying to make an impact worldwide but were falling short every time until the PMCO Fall Split 2019: South Asia where they emerged as the Champions. Some of their outstanding performances are 4th position in PMCO Spring Split 2019: South Asia and Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open. Now, with the entry of EntityClutchgod in the roster the team will be difficult to beat in PMPL south Asia.
- TEAM SOUL – This team has got a couple of trophies in their pockets and one of the most loved teams in India and worldwide. They were the 1st runner-up of the PMCO Fall Split 2019: South Asia. The team won the PMCO Spring Split 2019: South Asia and Pubg Mobile India Series 2019 under the leadership of SoulMortal aka Naman Mathur one of the famous name in gaming and streaming community.
- TEAM SYNERGE – was previously with the name ‘Synergy Gaming’ which was formed in October 2019 as the mobile division of very known esports organization of India “Global Esports” which was founded in October 2018. Till date, their best performance is the 2nd runner-up in PMCO Fall Split 2019: South Asia.
- TEAM INSIDIOUS – is one of the rosters under insidious esports. The team got the invitation in PMPL South Asia for its commendable 4th position in PMCO Fall Split 2019: South Asia. Last year the team was also the 2nd runner-up in the Pubg Mobile India Tour 2019 Event. But since the team has been disbanded last year. There is a high chance that the slot will be given to a different team.
- TEAM IND – Formed in 2018, this team is one of the oldest pubg mobile esports team. They were the last team invited for the PMPL 2020 south Asia. After the exit of Daljitsk, the team held back for a while but got their strengths back after the entry of INDSnax aka Raj Verma as a sniper.
Finally, top teams from Pubg Mobile Pro League 2020: South Asia will advance to the Pubg Mobile World League 2020.
