Everything you need to know about the upcoming 2022 LPL Summer Split Playoffs – With the end of the 2022 LPL Summer group stage, the playoffs are soon set to begin. The winner of the tournament will also be directly seeded into the League of Legends World Championship 2022. The LPL will be the first major Riot League in the world that will begin its playoffs. It starts only 48 hours after the group stage ends. Let us take a close look at the upcoming stage of the tournament.
2022 LPL Summer Split Playoffs: Qualified Teams
The teams that qualified for the LPL Summer playoffs are:

- Victory Five
- Royal Never Give Up
- EDward Gaming
- Weibo Gaming
- LNG Esports
- Oh My God
- FunPlus Phoenix
- Bilibili Gaming

2022 LPL Summer Split Playoffs: Prizes
The team that wins the grand finals of the 2022 LPL Summer Split will receive $296,661. The runner-up team will receive $148,330, the second runner-up $74,165, and the fourth team will get $44,499 in prize money. The fifth and sixth standing teams will also receive $29,666 each.
Apart from the title and the reward money, the 2022 LPL Summer Split winning team will also be directly seeded into the Worlds 2022 tournament.
2022 LPL Summer Split Playoffs: Schedule
With 10 teams qualifying for the playoffs, there will be two parallel brackets of both double and single-elimination formats. The bracket will begin with two single-elimination brackets, eventually converging into one double-elimination bracket.
Four teams will be eliminated before the playoffs bracket reaches the double elimination phase. Teams ranked from five to 10 on the LPL points table will begin the playoffs in a single-elimination “king of the hill” format. When only the top six teams remain, the double-elimination phase will begin.
The teams that lose from here on will go to the Losers’ Bracket, gaining another chance to advance. Here is a detailed roadmap of the 2022 LPL Summer Split Playoffs.
