The best North American teams will duke it out for the 2022 LCS Summer title- The group stage of the 2022 LCS Summer Split has ended but the real competition starts now. With the playoffs beginning this weekend, the qualified teams will fight tooth and nail to advance further in the bracket. Apart from a chance at winning the championship title, the spots for the League of Legends World Championship 2022 will also be up for grabs. From the eight qualified teams, only the top three can make it to the Worlds this year. Let us take a close look at the upcoming stage of the competition.

2022 LCS Summer Playoffs: Prizes
The team that wins the grand finals of the 2022 LCS Summer Split will receive $100,000. The runner-up team will receive $50,000, the second runner-up $30,000, and the fourth team will get $20,000 in prize money.
Apart from the title and the reward money, the qualifying spots for the Worlds 2022 tournament will be also up for grabs. Only the top three teams will be able to get them.
Schedule
The first round of the playoffs bracket will start on Saturday, Aug. 20. Each matchup between the teams will be a best-of-five series. As the first seeded team, Evil Geniuses has decided to take on the winning team between Counter Logic Gaming and Cloud9. On the other hand, 100 Thieves will face the winner between Team Liquid and FlyQuest.

2022 LCS Summer Playoffs: Where to watch
The 2022 LCS Championship playoffs will be live streamed from Aug. 20 to Sept. 11. The grand finals of the tournament will be held at the United Center in Chicago. League players and fans can check out the live stream of the event on the official LCS channels on Twitch TV and YouTube.
