2022 DOTA 2 The International 11 Main Event Overview: Check out qualified teams, schedule, format, and more – The Group Stage of DOTA 2 The International 2022 has ended with 16 teams qualifying for the main event. It has been an intense wild ride. Fans saw prominent teams like TSM and Talon Esports getting knocked out. The matches will become even more competitive in the next stage.

ti11 main event: format
Teams that will be playing on-stage for the Main Event will follow this format:
- It will have a double-elimination format.
- The Lower Bracket Round 1 matchups will be Best-of-1. The Grand Finals will have a Best-of-5 series. All the other matchups will feature Best-of-3 series.
- Out of the 16 qualified teams, eight teams will be placed in the Upper Bracket while the other eight will be placed in the Lower Bracket according to their standings in the TI11 Group Stage.
- In Upper Bracket Round 1, the 1st placed team in Group Stage picks their opponent from the 3rd or 4th placed team in the opposite group.
- For Lower Bracket Round 1, the 5th placed team in Group Stage picks their opponent from the 7th or 8th placed team in the opposite group.
